netWalk IS is searching some UMTS test engineers.

Following is the mandatory skill set for the UMTS Protocol stack test positions in Europe:

Knowledge of:
3G(NAS,RRC, RLC, MAC), 2G,IOT, HSDPA (added advantage), Call processing and GPRS Protocol Stack Testing
 
Work Experience for following test scenarios in 3G network:
Idle Mode Cell Selection/reselectios, Connected Mode features, CS, PS, CSD, CS+PS, PS+PS, CDS+PS, MultiRAB, Multiple PDP, Cell selection-reselection, transition of cell, Soft/Softer handovers, Intra-frequency/Inter-Frequency/ Inter-RAT Handovers, Cell Change Order, Emergency call features, HSDPA Cat 6 and Cat 12 features, Data throughput, Channel switching, various UL/ DL RABs, Mobility scenarios.

Conformance testing experience using: Anritsu, Anite, Agilent

Field Testing: Drive test scenarios in live network conditions so field test experience is highly preferable.

1. Candidate should have knowledge of WCDMA, GSM, GPRS technologies  (network architecture and call flow). Mandatory emphasis on:
            a. Cell Selection/Reselection
            b. Voice call stability check
            c. PLMN and network mode change scenarios
            d. 2G/3G data call scenarios
            e. HSDPA/HSUPA scenarioa
            f. MultiRab(MRAB) call scenarios
            g. Dual Transfer Mode (DTM)
            h. Performance and stability tests
            i. different types of handover
j.Multiple PDP scenarios
2.Worked for Field testing, Product Validation, Conformance testing, Inter-opertablity Test, Acceptance Testing for a mobile handset. a. Drive test scenarios
            b. Conformance testing using Anite, Anritsu, Agilent in lab set up
            c. Good communication skills to explain and close open issues with development team and operators.
3. Experience in Test Planning, Test Case preparation, test case Execution and Analysis and reporting.
4. Use of Rational Tools like Clear Quest/ Clear Case (added advantage)
